OOC: Sorry I haven't posted in a while! BIC: Aquene headed off in a slow trot, her tongue lolling out of her mouth. Dodging through the trees and low hanging branches she finally got too where she wanted to be. Pawing up the hill she stopped and looked out across the forest below then up too the sky. The shades of orange and pink darkening as the sun slid farther and farther below the horizon. "Isn't it pretty?" Aquene breathed to Kanga, not taking her eyes from the sight. She could sit here like this forever. And at That moment her heart felt like it was in the right place, with the wolf beside her and the sunset, sitting there atop the hill she felt her past slide farther away, the pain and fear more distant now.

"It's...amazing." Breathed the wolf, his golden eyes widening, staring at the ball of flame darkening and lowering. Her lowered his head, then raised it slowly, his mouth not curved in an O,' but the sound from his maw came to be a perfect sound that a wolf would need to shape an o lip to produce a perfect howl, though moon was not here, and sun was lying down to rest for the night, he howled, a perfect, happy howl, to celebrate so much, so much he did not know, so much he would have loved,he loweredh is head, like a dying flame, dying loyaly and rpoudly, so magnifecently, his howl ended. His lips pursed together, the black poking out from the teeth, his head raised high, his face not showing any sign that he had just given the perfect, most beautiful, most sorrowful, drenched in his lifes history, full of his love for a wolf close ot him, howl. Of course to other wolves it did not reflect his sad history, or love or anything, to other wolves, it owuld just be a beautiful, mind insiring howl. howls can be pretty, they can be thretening, or mourning. this one was diffrent from all, it was thick with hapiness and joy. He smiled to the wolfess next to him, and without really thinking he burhsedh is muzzle along hers freindly.

Aquene smiled and returned his gesture. "It is isn't it?" She agreed, resting her head on Kanga's shoulder she felt right at home. As the suun slowly slid down the sky and soon the colours dissapeared and deep blue enveloped them, soon after a smattering of stars where visable in the blackness.

Kanga wasn o longer staring a ball of magnificent light. he was staring at balck, with speckles paint ed on it, and some hills back out there. He sighed deeply. His chest pulling in an out. He closed his eyes, letting the sound of crickets surround him, a soft gentle breeze and the sound of a scattering squirrel going home to sleep. He opend his eyes, and for once, for the first time in his hard grouchy life, he felt peaceful ina world he was so shocked by. he felt lifted from a curse he knew was there from the begining, he felt like this was the new begining for a better life.

Aquene yawned, her jaws parting then snapping shut. "Tired." She said shaking her head to clear it. She easeedd herself into the ground and put her head on her paws, hazel eyes still gazing out across the sky and horizon far beyond. "Kanga?" She said looking up at him. "I missed you." She settled her head back on her paws and sighed, content.
