Out of the dank, clinging mist padded a lone ebon fea, her eyes searching for any sign of movement within the thick vegetation. Her coat was now starting to thicken in preparation for the cold harsh winter that was only weeks away, and only a fool would take on the challenge of spending the winter alone, without a pack. So with nothing left to do, she lifted her mug to the skies and emitted a long, loud message to the wolves that lay just beyond the border of trees and waited impatiently for a response. ((OOC: forgive me for my lack of piccys I'm doing everything I can to get them up))

Toorima strode along the borders, trying to ignore the rather annoying cold chill in the air. Unlike most wolves, she hated the cold and the winter months. Her pelt was beginning to thicken like most other's, but, that wasn't going to stop her from being absolutely annoyed by the chilly weather. The femme grumbled to herself, remembering her youth, back when the winters weren't quite as bad. Yeah yeah, I'm the one who just had to live up here, in this ice cube mountain area. Why couldn't I stayed with Kyu-kun? But nooo, that would just be too easy. she mentally huffed, rolling her eyes at her conversation to herself. Bleh.
Auds pricked forward at the sound of a howl. A new wolf. With a snort, the ebony vixen tromped off to greet the possible new cadre member. Within just mere moments, two tone gaze could see the wolf who'd called earlier. A female of ebony hue. Nostrils flared, trying to find out where she'd come from. As the Alphess moved closer to her, lifting her tail and raising her head in typical Alpha fashion, she continued to inspect for signs of an enemy wolf. This female seemed to be free of the stench of the Guardian Forest pack smell, Yamamori's enemy wolves. Oh what hatred she had for every chunk of flesh that lived there, especially their higher ups and their old coot of an Alpha. Remembering the current task at hand, Toorima looked over the femme, and opened her maw with a simple greeting.
'lo vix'. I'm Toorima, Alphess of the Yamamori Lands."
Words weren't harsh, just a simple introduction, that was it. She purposely left out her full name, the cursed 13 syllable ramble of Japanese, that curse her father stamped on her body. No one in her 'new life' knew about it, and it was gonna stay that way for now.

Auds swiveled in place as the alphess approached. Lowering her head in respect, Haze replied to her simple introduction.
Yes, The most beautiful lands I've ever seen, if not the coldest.
The odd femme replied with a hint of a smile. And then skipped to the task of asking the alphess for a position.
Anyway, I came here seeking a place in your pack, if you don't mind

|{yay! you finally got a pic ^_^}|
Toorima nodded, watching as the fatale did as was expected of lone wolves. She'd shown respect and promptly spoke, not having to be prodded to death to get them to talk. The ebony Alphess didn't force total submittance on them, but respect was nice at first. She listened as nodded a bit, a bit of a smile tugging on her features as the wolfess mentioned this place being beautiful and cold. Yup, there wasn't really a shortage of either of those around here. Why did the beauty have to come with the cursed cold? Hmmpf.
The vixen had noticed the other obsidian hued femme had skipped directly to the asking for spot in the pack. Heh, oh well, less work for her. "You're welcome in this pack as a Subordinate as of now. Lots of positions are still open, but I don't give those ranks away." she said, tones average like normal. "Before I leave you, may I ask of your name and if you have any further questions?" the Alphena added, her standard proposition, asking if they had any questions at the present time. Most of the time they didn't, but, maybe she'd be different.
Maybe, she would warn this fatal of the enemy wolves, maybe she would begin spreading the word of them and the upcoming full-fledged war that would take place. Yup, she planned to have the old fart killed, if she didn't do it, she'd send someone else after him. Without the backbone, a being can't stand. Without their backbone, the old coot of an Alpha, the pack would most likely enter a time of turmoil. Destruction was fun.

"Thank you, I am very grateful"
She told the alphess, something she rarely said to anyone, but felt she was inclined to say at that very moment. A gust of cold wind suddenly blew against the form of the ebonite fea, jerking her fur into odd positions but it was only felt by the tip of her muzzle, where there was less fur, where her susceptible nose sat, exposed to the cold temperatures, and on her back piston, where the flesh had been stripped bare by the teeth of an opponent long ago.
"I have the feeling that it's only going to get colder..."
She thought to herself, almost eager to meet the rest of the pack, so she could explore the new lands before it got too cold for even a wolf such as herself could stand.

Toorima smiled and shifted her dial in a nod as the femme thanked her. Right now, all the wolves she could get her paws on was good. From the other ebony vixen's build, she looked like she could hold her own against a pack of enemy wolves. Anything would be helpful at this point, although she knew she could take done that pack of garbage with her half-blind eye and a paw behind her back. More wolves meant less work for her. Heh.
Haze mentioned it getting colder. Very true. Although she'd lived here for just one winter before the present one, she knew that it wasn't going to be any walk in the park. The northern winds only proved it, them constantly sweeping down from the mountains and chilling the valley before them. "Yeah, I'd suggest finding a decent place to try to keep warm for when it does it worse." she said, suggesting it just so she wouldn't be turning up frozen bodies when the spring warmth melts the snow. Not fun at all. "Before I leave you, I'll give you warning of our enemy pack, the Guardian Forests. A full-scale war is coming, I know it. Just beware of those slimebags on our turf." the lucid vixen added, just letting her know of them.

"I've spent a few months in the arctic chill. It's obnoxious, but I'm pretty sure I can handle it."
She told Toorima, undoubtedly confident that she could, just as beyond doubt as the pure thrill she got out of hearing the words "full-scale war" coming from Toorima. It wasn't necessarily the taking of lives that was thrilling, but the challenge of a fight, and one as competetive as Haze couldn't turn down a single one if the opportunity presented itself when she was in the mood.
"I guess I could stand to stay a bit longer than planned"
She thought, shaking her pelage back into place.

Toorima noted the femme's interest at the mention of their enemies, a bit of a grin painting her features as well. But she didn't blame her, the thoughts of ripping them apart did sound pretty good. It had been an almost ageless war, one that probably had been going on here before she was whelped or even came to live here. When the ebony Alphess had spent her time with Orin, she could recall hearing them speak of the Guardian Forest wolves. That seemed like so long ago. Really, all she'd done is inherit all the animosity that came with this place and like her nature told her to, she grasped it and took it all in.
"Well, I think I should leave you to your exploration for now. I probably go make sure the Guardian Forest wolves stay out of here..." she said, glancing off into the depths of her forests. A simple nod was given to the vixen before she turned to leave. Toorima took a final look around and trotted off into the foliage of the borders, off to either cause some trouble or make sure someone hadn't beaten her to it.
{>>; tis late}

"Alright then, it was nice meeting you, Toorima, and I guess I will see you in a short while" the she-wolf replied, traveling into the borders of Yamamori with a pleasant smile upon her muzzle. "The guardian forest wolves, huh?... They're the enemies, and that's all I need to know." The femme thought, haphazardly sliding her tongue over her canines as she wandered about her new homelands with large strides. "Maybe I should take a look at these goons before I settle in" ~has left~ (Is also very late right now )
